Exercise 8: Configuring Address Books

As an IT manager in USMF, you need to create an address book and describe the party records for each retail store location. You also need to create a new party and associate the party with an address book. Finally, you need to use this party to create a prospect.

  1. Select Modules from the left navigation bar. Select Organization administration > Global address book > Address books.

  2. Select + New.

    • In the Name field, enter Denver

    • In the Description field, enter Denver Store

    • Select Save.

  3. In the Available Teams list, find and select the Safety team. Select the right arrow to add the Selected Teams.

  4. Select Save.

  5. Select Modules from the left navigation bar > Common > Common > Global address book.

  6. Select + New.

    • In the Type field, select Person.

    • In the First name field, enter your first name.

    • In the Last name field, enter your last name.

    • In the Address books field, select Denver.

    • Select Save.

  7. Select Prospect from the action pane to view the new prospect information.

  8. Close all pages.
